Air Raid Sirens Blare in Tel Aviv as 20 Projectiles Fired from Lebanon
Air raid sirens echoed across Tel Aviv on Tuesday, as 20 projectiles were launched towards Israel from Lebanon, marking a significant escalation in cross-border tensions. According to the Israeli military, five rockets were directed at central Israel, with another 15 targeting northern regions, including the Golan Heights.
In a statement shared on Telegram, the Israeli military reported that most of the rockets were intercepted by the country’s air defense systems. However, one projectile landed in an open area in central Israel, causing no reported damage. In the northern regions, several rockets were similarly intercepted, while others fell in open spaces.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported so far. However, the situation remains fluid, and the military is continuing to assess the damage.
The source of the attack is believed to be from Lebanese territory, but these claims have not been independently verified. This latest incident follows a series of escalating exchanges along the Israel-Lebanon border in recent weeks.
As tensions rise, local residents in affected areas have been urged to stay near shelters and follow further military instructions.
