After France, Tinubu Heads to China for Key Economic Discussions
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a visit to the People’s Republic of China, just a week after returning from France.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, confirmed that the visit is scheduled for the first week of September. The trip forms part of the administration’s broader strategy to enhance the wellbeing of Nigerians through international partnerships.
During his visit, President Tinubu is expected to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, with several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) anticipated to be signed. These agreements are likely to cover key sectors such as oil and gas, aluminum production, agriculture, and satellite technology.
Additionally, President Tinubu will engage with ten Chief Executive Officers from leading Chinese companies, focusing on expanding cooperation in these critical areas.
