Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has announced a cash incentive package worth up to $1.5 million for the Super Eagles following their 2–0 victory over Algeria at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025.
Nigeria’s win against Algeria secured a place in the semi-finals, with Victor Osimhen scoring once and providing an assist.
In a statement posted on his social media platforms, Rabiu commended the players for their performance and outlined financial rewards tied to the team’s progress in the tournament.
He said the Super Eagles would receive $500,000 if they win their semi-final match, alongside a bonus of $50,000 for each goal scored in that game.
Rabiu added that a further $1 million would be paid if the team goes on to win the final, with an additional $100,000 promised for every goal scored in the final match.
He concluded by wishing the team success as they prepare for the semi-final fixture.
