Actress Hilda Dokubo Breaks Silence on Labour Party Suspension
Actress and politician, Hilda Dokubo, has clarified that reports of her suspension from the Labour Party (LP) in her ward in the Asari Toru local government area (LGA) of Rivers state were false.
It was alleged that she was suspended for financial misconduct, abuse of office, and breach of party regulations during an emergency meeting held by the party’s ward executive on Thursday, July 18.
However, Dokubo debunked the allegations on Monday, July 22.
Reacting to the alleged suspension, Dokubo in a post on her Instagram on Monday, July 22, wrote: “Thank God my parents raised me well, otherwise the things king of structure has tried these few days… thieves wanted to dress me in their dirty coat.
“To all concerned, these are refutals from some of the same PAID propaganda media houses/news agencies that were quick to spread Li€$. Also when posting the Li€$ you all used sensational headlines. When it became time to spread the truth, you all used backhand statements, where is the sensationalism now? 😂😂 Sh@me on PAID media” she wrote.
