“Accept His Shortcomings; He Will Do Better” – Osoba Urges Nigerians to Support Tinubu’s Second Term

In a recent address at the All Progressives Congress (APC) South West Zone Assembly meeting in Lagos, former Ogun State governor Olusegun Osoba called on Nigerians to forgive President Bola Tinubu’s shortcomings and support his leadership. Osoba expressed confidence that Tinubu would deliver on his promises during his upcoming second term in office.

Emphasizing the unity of the Yoruba people behind Tinubu, Osoba stated, “The Yoruba leadership stands united behind Tinubu’s presidency and remains confident in his ability to deliver.” He reassured attendees that Tinubu, who he described as a “Yoruba son,” is committed to improving the nation after his first four-year term, saying, “He will do better. After his first four-year term, he will serve another four years.”

Osoba further reminded the public that it was the collective decision of Nigerians that elevated Tinubu to the presidency, stating, “Bola didn’t make himself the President of Nigeria; we did.” His remarks reflect a strong commitment to rallying support for Tinubu as he prepares for his second term, underscoring the belief that he has the capability to fulfill his leadership promises.
