The Commander-General of Kano State Hisbah Board, Dr. Harun Ibn-Sina, has disclosed that 8,400 bottles of beer have been confiscated by the board in Kano.

He made this known in a statement issued to newsmen in Kano.

He stated that the bottles of beer were confiscated in Dawakin Kudu and Kura Local Government Areas of the State.

You would recall that the Hisbah Board had prohibited the sale of beer in the state to curb intoxication of people in the State.

Dr Ibn-Sina said investigations are still on and all persons found culpable would be charged to court.
