2Baba’s Family Declares Him Missing, Petitions DSS
Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or Tubaba, has been declared missing by his family, who have petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS) to intervene in locating him.
According to the Idibia family, Tuface was last seen on February 10, when he left home in his lounge wear without his bodyguard. His family initially assumed he was taking a short walk and would return soon. However, he has not been seen since, raising concerns about his whereabouts.
Adding to their worries, friends of the singer claim they have received messages from him soliciting financial assistance. The family finds this particularly alarming, as they insist that Tuface is financially stable and has no reason to seek help from others. They further stress that the singer is dedicated to his craft and is usually either writing songs or recording in the studio, yet he has not shown up for any such engagements in recent days.
In response to his absence, the family has called on law enforcement authorities to step in and assist in locating the musician.
Despite these concerns, videos of Tuface have surfaced on social media in the past few days. One widely shared clip shows him proposing to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Irobosa Osawaru. This unexpected development has fueled speculation about his situation. Following the video’s circulation, Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia, released her own video pleading with Osawaru to “free” her son.
