2027: Goodluck Jonathan’s Posters with New Political Platform Surface in Kano
Posters of former President Goodluck Jonathan have appeared across Kano, igniting speculation about his potential involvement in the 2027 general elections. These posters prominently showcase a new political platform, Team New Nigeria (TNN), and have been strategically placed in key locations such as the Kano State Government House, State Road, Audu Bako Secretariat, and the iconic Dangi Bridge.
Team New Nigeria is reportedly a nascent political platform awaiting registration as a political party by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). It claims a nationwide base of approximately 26 million registered members, aiming to present itself as a strong alternative to Nigeria’s existing political dominance.
The appearance of the posters has intensified discussions about Jonathan’s potential return to active politics and whether he might contest under the TNN banner. With the platform boldly positioning itself as a challenger to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the administration of President Bola Tinubu, it signals TNN’s ambitions to redefine the country’s political landscape.
