2023 Election: Rivers State ADC Gubernatorial candidate nominates Tonto Dikeh as running mate
The Rivers State African Democratic Congress governorship candidate, Tonte Ibraye, has nominated popular actress, Tonto Dikeh, as his running mate.
Tonto Dikeh made this know on her Instagram page @tontolet.
She thanked the Governorship Candidate for nominating her, saying she looks forward to investing massively in social protection and creating value for young people.
She said “I thank Mr. Tonte Ibraye, the Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress Rivers State for nominating me as his running mate.”
She advocated for increased women inclusion in governance system.
Tonto Dikeh further pledged to support small businesses and strengthen existing traditional institutions with a view to making them active players in the drive to bring sustainable development to the good people of Rivers State.”
She however, urged people of the state, particularly the youth to register and get their Permanent Voter Card to ensure they vote during the election.
