15-year-old Nigerian student sets record with 84 global awards and perfect SAT score
A 15-year-old student of Graceland International School, Port Harcourt, Agbo Adoga, has gained international recognition after scoring a perfect 1600 on the SAT and winning 84 awards in mathematics, coding, and STEM competitions across the world.
Adoga’s achievements place him among the youngest students globally to reach such academic milestones. He was recently named Overall Runner-Up in the Grades 11 and 12 category at the Singapore Maths Global Finals 2025 and earned a perfect score in the Singapore and Asian Schools Maths Olympiad 2024.
He is a two-time world champion at the International STEM Olympiad, where he won gold medals in mathematics at the 2024 Grand Final in the Netherlands and the 2025 edition in Spain.
In Nigeria, Adoga won the 2023 Cowbellpedia Junior Category, receiving ₦5 million and an educational trip to South Africa. In 2025, he led his school team to victory at the Maths4Life National Tournament, earning ₦3 million and the Most Valuable Player award.
With 84 awards that include multiple Olympiad gold medals and national titles, Adoga continues to draw attention as one of Africa’s most promising young scholars. Officials at Graceland International School described him as “a beacon of excellence and a model of hard work, discipline, and grace.”
