14-Year-Old House Help Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Employer to Death in Lagos
A 14-year-old house help, Dorcas Adebisi, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her employer, Modupe Lawson, to death during a confrontation at their residence in the Oworonshoki area of Lagos.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on April 9, 2025, and was reported to the Oworonshoki Police Division by the deceased’s brother, Abayomi Samuel Aina, about an hour later. Police officers who responded to the scene at No. 13 Ayoola Street discovered the victim’s body lying in a pool of blood. Photographs were taken, and the body was transported to the Mainland General Hospital Morgue in Yaba for autopsy.
The teenage suspect was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody as investigations into the circumstances of the death continue.
