“You will collapse and die” — Wike rains curses on politicians supporting Fubara
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Saturday delivered a pointed message to political office holders he believes are supporting actions against him, warning that they would eventually face similar treatment.
Wike spoke in Port Harcourt during the commissioning of the Rivers State office of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
Addressing the audience, the minister said senators, members of the House of Representatives, ministers and governors who align with what he described as betrayal would, in time, reap the consequences.
“Whether you are a senator, House of Reps member, minister or governor, and you support betrayals, people will continue to betray you in life. Betrayal is your portion,” Wike said.
He added that those involved would one day find themselves unable to object when they experience the same fate.
“The day you will be betrayed, you will not have mouth to say anything. There you will collapse and go and they will announce that so so person has died,” he stated.
Wike also cautioned second-term governors and those seeking to influence succession plans, saying that supporting betrayal would ultimately work against them.
“Every governor who is doing the second tenure, governor who has ambition to put a successor and is supporting betrayal, you will never survive it,” he said.
