“You Introduced Me to Drugs and Sleep With Girls,” Laila Charani Alleges Against Regina Daniels
Senator Ned Nwoko’s Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, has accused her co-wife, Regina Daniels, of introducing her to drugs and engaging in inappropriate relationships with women. The claims surfaced in a recent Instagram post following Regina Daniels’ remarks suggesting that her husband’s other wives were involved in drug use.
Charani alleged that Regina Daniels was the one who first exposed her to drugs about six years ago, saying she nearly lost her marriage until her husband intervened. According to her, Nwoko does not indulge in smoking or drinking, and his concern over Regina’s alleged habits has caused tension between them.
In her post, Charani accused Regina of being a negative influence within their household, claiming she had distributed drugs to domestic workers, nannies, and even her younger sister. She went on to allege that Regina had sexual relations with women around her, which led Charani to express fear for the safety of her own daughters.
“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago, and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path,” she wrote. “You have been a bad influence since you married into this family, giving drugs to nannies, workers, and even your sister Destiny.”
Charani urged Regina Daniels to seek psychological help and refrain from dragging the other wives into her issues with their husband. As of the time of filing this report, Regina Daniels has not publicly responded to the allegations.
