“You Are an Uncouth and Uncultured Local Champion Called ‘Money Miss Road’” — Dele Momodu Fires Back at Wike

Veteran journalist and media entrepreneur Dele Momodu has publicly hit back at Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, after Wike claimed during a media chat that he was never friends with Momodu and dismissed his political relevance by saying he had never delivered a single vote.

Responding via his social media account, Momodu unleashed a fiery statement questioning Wike’s character and conduct. He remarked, “I can confirm that too much alcohol can do two things, dull the memory and get people emaciated,” implying that Wike’s remarks were both disingenuous and misguided.

The exchange quickly escalated as Momodu drew comparisons between their political efforts, declaring, “On elections, there’s no difference between the man who wasted billions on seeking power and still lost and the one who spent nothing and got nothing. They are both losers.”

In a particularly sharp jab, Momodu described Wike as “an uncouth and uncultured local champion called ‘money miss road’,” contrasting himself as “a decorous and refined global citizen surviving on contentment.”

Momodu also suggested that attempts had been made to support Wike in the past, but those efforts were ultimately fruitless. “We thought we could be of help but we failed because some souls are irredeemable,” he wrote.

Ending with a pointed warning, Momodu stated, “Lesson: NO ONE HAS A MONOPOLY OF MADNESS,” underscoring the growing animosity between the two prominent figures.
