Woman Allegedly Murders Boyfriend Amid Dispute Over Sharing Formula of Internet Fraud Proceeds
A woman, identified as Oluchi Nzemechi, has been apprehended by authorities in Imo State following the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, Kelechi Nzemechi, amid a dispute over proceeds from their internet fraud activities, known as “Yahoo Yahoo.”
According to police reports, Oluchi confessed to the crime, revealing that the altercation ensued during discussions about dividing the profits from a successful scam, which netted them 250 million Indonesian Rupiah.
In a disturbing turn, Oluchi allegedly attempted to divert suspicion by leaving a threatening note on the victim’s body before fleeing the scene. Authorities have initiated efforts to recover the misappropriated funds and ensure justice for the victim.
