Speaking during a media chat on Monday, Wike said he feels deeply hurt by Fubara’s actions and described them as a betrayal by someone he once supported. “Sometimes, when I go back in my quiet moment, I play the video of the speeches of the governor — what he said and did to me, I weep,” he said.

Wike also made it clear that resolving the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State now depends solely on Fubara’s actions.
