“We May Reconsider Our Relationship with PDP” – South-East Party Leaders Warn
Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-East have issued a strong warning that they may exit the party en masse due to what they describe as ongoing unfair treatment by the party’s leadership. The warning came during a Zonal Executive Committee (ZEC) meeting held Wednesday in Enugu, where party stakeholders demanded the immediate recognition of SKE Ude-Okoye as the National Secretary of the PDP.
In a statement issued at the meeting, the leaders declared that if their demands are not met swiftly, they would be “compelled to reconsider” their relationship with the party. The sentiment was echoed by all speakers at the gathering, which was attended by notable figures including Governor Peter Mbah and Chief Ali Odefa.
