Wahala Pro Max: Trump Pushes for Unprecedented Mass Deportation Drive Amid Nationwide Protests

U.S. President Donald Trump has triggered a political and social firestorm after calling for what he described as the “single largest Mass Deportation Programme in history.” In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump urged federal immigration agents to escalate arrests and removals, with a sharp focus on Democrat-led cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.

The move has set off widespread protests across the country, with demonstrators rallying in opposition to the aggressive crackdown. Tensions boiled over in California after Trump ordered National Guard troops and U.S. Marines into Los Angeles, drawing sharp criticism from Governor Gavin Newsom. Newsom, a high-profile Democrat and likely 2028 presidential contender, condemned the action as federal overreach and warned it would only deepen divisions.

Trump’s renewed deportation drive is consistent with his long-standing immigration stance, a cornerstone of both his past and current campaigns. According to The New York Times, the shift came after Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins directly appealed to Trump, warning of growing anxiety among farm owners over labor shortages.
