Video: Don Pedro Obaseki Recounts Ordeal After Alleged Assault in Benin City
Don Pedro Obaseki has narrated his experience following an alleged assault in Benin City, Edo State.
According to Obaseki, the incident occurred on Sunday morning at Uwa Primary School, his regular football venue. He said he was suddenly ambushed by a mob, who verbally abused, harassed, and threatened him with death. He alleged that the attackers dragged him out of the school premises, stripped him naked, and forcefully marched him toward the Palace of the Oba of Benin.
Obaseki described the incident as the most humiliating experience of his life and condemned what he called a barbaric act.
