Veteran Nigerian Musician Salawa Abeni Unveils Third Husband, Celebrates Retirement, Birthday in Grand Style
Renowned Nigerian singer, Salawa Abeni, revealed her third husband, Rasheed Adahunse, during a lavish celebration held in Lagos over the weekend. Adahunse, a retiree and former comptroller and commandant of the Customs Training College, marked his retirement and birthday surrounded by friends, family, and well-wishers.
During the event, Abeni expressed her gratitude, stating, “I don’t have many words to utter other than to thank God. I will just say a bit about my dearest husband. You have retired but not tired, as God joined us together as husband and wife four years ago. I pray you will live long and have abundance. You saw me as a musician, and I saw you then as a complete ‘English’ man, but love conquered all. I have not chosen wrongly.”
Abeni further shared a glimpse of her performance at the celebration on her Instagram page, extending her congratulations to Adahunse. In her caption, she wrote, “Congratulations on your retirement and birthday celebration, Comptroller Rasheed Agbolade Adahunse.”
The couple, who reportedly tied the knot four years ago, showcased their enduring love and celebrated this significant milestone in their lives.
