Unknown Gunmen kill Final year UNIBEN student after last paper
A final year student of the University of Benin has been reported shot dead by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
The late student, who has been identified as Augustine Izu was killed in his compound in Ugbowo, Edo State on Tuesday June 29, 2021.
Reports have it that, Augustine was killed by the masked gunmen when he arrived home after his final paper and usual signing out “ceremony.”
It was also reported that, Augustine was with one of his friends Walter Emeka who luckily escaped after being shot in the arm.
He is said to be responding to treatment.
The incident has since being reported to the Police.
