UNIZIK High School Wins 2024 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Competition
In a remarkable display of academic prowess, students from UNIZIK High School, renowned as the Premium High School, have clinched the top position among schools in Anambra State during the Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2024 competition.
The competition, organized by the US Missions in Nigeria in collaboration with the American Spaces in Nigeria, unfolded on January 18 and specifically catered to secondary schools in Anambra State.
According to a statement released by the Media Adviser to the vice chancellor, Dr. Emmanuel C. Ojukwu, the prestigious event highlighted the intellectual capabilities of the UNIZIK High School students.
Presenting the award-winning students to the vice chancellor, Mrs. Israel Olanike Atinuke, the principal of the Premium High School, lauded the dedication and exceptional performance of the students, emphasizing the school’s commitment to maintaining its high standards.
Expressing gratitude to the vice chancellor of UNIZIK, Professor Charles Esimone, Mrs. Atinuke thanked him for the unwavering support extended to the school.
In response, Vice Chancellor Prof. Esimone extended his heartfelt congratulations to the UNIZIK High School students who participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day competition, urging them not to rest on their laurels. He emphasized the significance of hard work in shaping a successful future, stating, “The future belongs to those who work hard to achieve their dreams.”
Prof. Esimone reassured the school of continued support within the university’s resource constraints, reaffirming UNIZIK’s commitment to fostering academic excellence in its affiliated institutions.
