Two Young Men Found Beaten, Tied, and Suffocated Along Lagos Road
Residents of Iba community in Lagos woke up to shock and fear on Tuesday, September 9, after the bodies of two young men were discovered along the LASU-Igando road, near First Gate.
The victims were found face down close to a canal, with their hands and feet tied behind their backs. They were shirtless, and their heads were covered with blue trash bags knotted tightly around their necks.
According to eyewitnesses, marks on the victims’ bodies suggested they were flogged before being suffocated with the bags.
The killings are believed to have taken place during the night of Thursday, September 8. As of Friday evening, September 9, the bodies had not yet been removed from the scene.
The incident has left residents unsettled, with many calling for swift action from security agencies to uncover those behind the gruesome act.
