Tribute To Engr. High Chief Raymond Aleogho Anthony Dokpesi Ph.D, By Bishop Habu Dawaki
The Ezomo of the Universe as we fondly call him was an exceptional human being, an Elder Statesman per excellence, a great patriot, innovator, philanthropist, and an example of a true Nigerian. Selfless, Detribalized, committed, dedicated, and passionate about Nigeria. An outstanding Patriot and nationalist, DAAR was Humble, simple, down to earth, Loyal, bold, Courageous, strong-hearted, Highly Resourceful, and Entrepreneur. His devotion and allegiance to nation-building are peculiar driving him to make unusual sacrifices by sharing his resources and risking his life towards making Nigeria better. A bridge builder, pathfinder, trailblazer, visionary and results-oriented leader, and lover of peace, justice, and equity, his contributions to nation-building are matchless. A father, benefactor, and mentor to many, he was compassionate and kindhearted. A great mind and dogged fighter, he pursued whatever he believed in with every fiber of his being.
A very phenomenal human being, a rare gem, very consistent, and highly principled.
Dr. Dokpesi was an icon, a rallying point to many, an institution that even his enemies and foes cannot dispute.
His independent-mindedness attracted both admirers and foes alike but that never deterred him.
He can go to any length for a cause he believes in.
When the high chief believes in a course, no friend or enemy can dissuade him. A true hero, he fights other people’s battles as if it is his own.
Ezomo has a very large and forgiven heart. No matter how you offend him, he is quick to forgive and embrace everyone even those fighting him either out of ignorance, misinformation, jealousy, hatred, or whatever reason.
He valued companionship and has friends from all works of life both small and great and treats them with respect, honor, and dignity.
High Chief Raymond Aleogho Anthony Dokpesi was a Colossus, an outstanding larger-than-life leader. A tireless worker, and Great Nigerian.
Ezomo lived a very impactful life. His death is a colossal loss not only to his immediate family, kinsmen, Daar communications, business and political associates, partners, friends, and loved ones but to Nigeria and Africa at large.
The Great Ezomo has traveled to the land of no return. His legacies lived on.
Adieu Ezomo of the Universe
