Tinubu To Nigerians: Forget What Rumour Mills Told You, I’m Very Strong
Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, says he is refreshed and ready for the task ahead of him.
Speaking shortly after he returned to the country, Tinubu asked Nigerians to ignore reports from rumour mills, adding that he is “very strong”.
“I’m happy to be back. I have rested, I’m refreshed and I’m ready for the task ahead,” the former Lagos governor was quoted in a statement by Rahman.
“Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I’m strong, very strong.”
The president-elect said he has been consulting on setting up a strong team ahead of the May 29 inauguration.
