Tears as Greenfield University Student Reunites With Family Family After Release By Terrorists
There were tears of joy as the family of one of the Greenfield University Students in Kaduna who was released by terrorists received him back.
Five students were killed by the terrorists in a show to demonstrate their readiness to kill all the students of their demands were not met.
The bandits had demanded around N500m for the release of all the students despite pleas by parents that it was not something they could afford.
The bandits had initially demanded the ransom from the government and when the government refused to accede to this request they insisted the parents must pay.
It is believed that this students parents paid a ransom to have their son Aaron released.
