Tambuwal: Tinubu Can’t Dodge Responsibility for Buhari’s Failures
Sokoto South Senator, Aminu Tambuwal, took aim at President Bola Tinubu, asserting that Tinubu cannot distance himself from the shortcomings of former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto, Tambuwal urged Tinubu to rein in his ministers and aides from launching attacks on Buhari.
Tambuwal criticized Tinubu’s tenure, stating that it failed to foster development in Nigeria. He called on Tinubu to prevent his appointees from vilifying Buhari, emphasizing that as a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Tinubu benefited from Buhari’s government.
“The same Tinubu government that has failed to secure Nigerians or bring development is now lamenting and disassociating itself from Buhari’s administrative failure,” Tambuwal remarked.
He urged Tinubu to prioritize Nigeria’s governance and address internal challenges within his government to uphold his vision of national security and development.
Tambuwal emphasized the need for unity and determination within the party, urging supporters to remain steadfast in their commitment to the nation’s progress.
