“Speed Darlington, You Are Going, Going, Gone” – Isaac Fayose Says 15-Year-Old Girl Will Visit Police with Mother
Businessman Isaac Fayose has alleged that the 15-year-old girl whom controversial singer Speed Darlington claimed to have slept with in a hotel has been located and is expected to visit a police station with her mother to give a formal statement.
In a video shared online, Fayose referenced a disturbing confession reportedly made by Speed Darlington during a live broadcast, where the artist allegedly stated he had sexual intercourse with a minor and described graphic details of the incident. Fayose condemned the admission, calling it a shameful moment that coincided with Nigeria’s Children’s Day.
“How can we operate a lawless nation?” Fayose asked. “The latest saga now is Akpi [Speed Darlington] coming on a live broadcast to say he slept with a 15-year-old and blood gushed out of her and stained the bed. He said he had to pay hotel staff to clean it. What a sad moment in our country, on Children’s Day of all days. Where is the protection for our children?” Fayose further alleged that the girl involved is scheduled to visit the police today, May 29, along with her mother, to give her account of what transpired.
“Unfortunately for Akpi, he thought it was a joke. But as God would have it, we now have the victim coming forward. She is going to the police station with her mother to write a statement,” he said.
Addressing Speed Darlington directly, Fayose warned that law enforcement and relevant authorities are watching closely and that serious consequences could follow. “You are going to be the latest [alleged] paedophile in Nigeria. You are going to join the likes of R. Kelly. This time, the oil you keep joking about won’t save you,” Fayose said. “This one cannot be swept under the carpet. Unfortunately for you, we now have a victim.”
He concluded with a message suggesting legal action is imminent: “Speed Darlington, you are going, going, gone. You better get your oil ready for Kirikiri.” As of the time of this report, there has been no official statement from the Nigerian Police Force regarding the case.
