In a bid to foster inclusivity, Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra state, assured former political appointees that his administration is dedicated to leaving no one behind. The governor conveyed this commitment during a weekend meeting with individuals who previously served in the cabinet of Willie Obiano, the immediate past governor of the state.

The gathering aimed to resolve issues raised by former appointees who expressed feeling neglected and abandoned by the current administration. Governor Soludo emphasized that his government will persist in formulating policies geared towards positive outcomes for the state’s residents.

During the meeting, the governor pledged to thoroughly examine the concerns of the former appointees and work towards lasting solutions. Urging residents to remain patient, he reiterated his administration’s dedication to addressing the challenges facing Anambra.

Key figures present at the meeting included Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the deputy governor; Solo Chukwulobelu, secretary to the state government; Ernest Ezeajughi, chief of staff to the governor; Ifeatu Obiokoye, Anambra APGA chairman; and Alex Obiogbolu, special adviser to the governor on political matters.

The gathering concluded on a positive note, marked by exchanged pleasantries and a symbolic handshake, indicating goodwill between the parties. Former appointees commended Governor Soludo for his proactive approach to addressing their concerns, reaffirming their support for his administration.
