Sniper Who Shot at Trump Killed by US Secret Service as President Biden Reacts
The Secret Service shot and killed a man who opened fire at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the suspected shooter was killed at the scene. The incident occurred just six minutes into Trump’s speech, causing chaos and alarm among attendees.
Trump, who sustained an injury during the attack, was immediately surrounded by Secret Service agents who provided cover and swiftly escorted him from the stage. Eyewitnesses reported seeing blood on his face as he was rushed to safety.
In addition to the shooter, one attendee was also killed, sending shockwaves across the nation. The Secret Service has since announced that Trump is safe and under continuous protection.
The incident is being investigated as an attempted assassination, according to law enforcement sources.
President Joe Biden condemned the violence, expressing his gratitude for Trump’s safety. “There is no place for violence in our society,” Biden said in a statement, denouncing the attack.
