Six Real Estate Marketers Kidnapped in Ogun State During Site Visit
Six real estate marketers were abducted in Ogun State, police have confirmed. The victims, employed by a Lagos-based real estate company, were taken at Oyebola village in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area while on an inspection visit to company land.
Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, told Punch on Sunday, November 30, 2025, that the marketers were in the area to gather information for marketing the land to potential buyers. “It was during their visit to this land that the six people were abducted. It happened on Friday, and the command had been on it since, and we shall definitely ensure that these people regain their freedom,” he said.
A resident of a neighbouring community had earlier reported the incident, which has prompted an ongoing investigation by the state police command.
