Sir CC Onyeze Congratulates the Obi of Onitsha on the 23rd Ofala Festival
Sir Charles Chidi Onyeze, founder of the Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, on the successful celebration of the 23rd Ofala Festival.
In a statement released on behalf of his family and foundation, Sir Onyeze praised the Obi’s leadership and the significance of the annual Ofala Festival, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of Onitsha. He highlighted the festival as a testament to the enduring strength of traditional institutions in preserving the cultural identity of the people.
“Your leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of your people have fortified the values of unity and progress in our society,” Sir Onyeze remarked, emphasizing the Obi’s pivotal role in fostering communal harmony and cultural pride.
As the 2024 Ofala Festival draws to a close, Sir Onyeze offered prayers for the Obi’s continued good health, a long and prosperous reign, and the sustained flourishing of Onitsha’s rich traditions under his guidance.
