Refinery Rift: Dangote Ignored My Warnings, Needs Divine Intervention Now

In a recent statement, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has called on Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, to seek divine intervention amidst the ongoing crises affecting his multi-billion naira refinery project.

Primate Ayodele disclosed that he had previously sent a notable northern traditional ruler to warn Dangote of potential conflicts with the government concerning the refinery. However, his warnings went unheeded.

The cleric emphasized that while the refinery has the potential to significantly boost Nigeria’s economy, powerful forces might attempt to obstruct Dangote’s efforts. Hence, he urged Dangote to seek God’s guidance to navigate these challenges.

Primate Ayodele also criticized the Nigerian government for undermining indigenous businesses like Dangote’s, despite the nation’s economic difficulties. He highlighted the need to support local enterprises, mentioning Innoson Motors as another example.

“The refinery will create jobs and end fuel scarcity, even if it doesn’t lower fuel prices,” Ayodele stated. He urged the government to set aside ethnic biases and fully support Dangote’s venture, warning that any sabotage would negatively impact Nigeria’s economy.

“If the government starts fighting indigenous companies, how do we expect to grow? We have to encourage indigenous businesses. Dangote’s refinery will create jobs and alleviate fuel scarcity. It’s a blessing to Nigeria, and the government should support these initiatives. Instead of supporting foreign companies, why not fully back Innoson Motors?”

Ayodele concluded by stressing the need to prioritize national interests over ethnic considerations and to recognize the economic benefits of supporting local businesses like Dangote’s refinery.
