In a classic game of two halves Japan have beaten Germany by 2goals to One in their first group game of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Germany had taken the lead in the first half through a penalty well taken by Manchester City’s Illkay Gundogan.
However, the Japanese coach, Hajime Moriyasu changed his tactics in the second half bringing in Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano who got both goals for the Japanese side.

You would recall that against all odds, the Lionel Messi led Argentina team was also beaten by Saudi Arabia also by 2goals to One, in another game of two halves that had Argentina leading through a penalty goal by Lionel Messi.
