Princess Chineke: From Nollywood Star to U.S. Army Recruit
Nollywood actress Princess Chineke has embarked on an unexpected career path, swapping the glitz of the entertainment world for the discipline of the military. The former beauty queen and model, who once graced runways and billboards and represented her state at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, has joined the U.S. Army.
Her decision has left many fans astonished, as they fondly remember her impactful performances in popular productions like Battleground, Forever in Me, Last Flight to Abuja, Super Story, Papa Ajasco, and Professor Johnbull, among others. Known for her versatility and charm, Chineke’s work in both films and TV series earned her a dedicated following.
Despite her successful career in Nollywood, the former Miss UNIBEN revealed a deep desire to serve her adopted country, describing it as a personal mission to give back. “I love the prestige that comes with the American military,” she said. “As a citizen of this great country that has done so much for me, I feel it’s my turn to give back. God bless America.”
