Prince William Reportedly Furious Over Harry, Meghan’s Visit To Nigeria
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, stirred controversy with their recent visit to Nigeria to promote the Invictus Games. However, it seems this move has not been well-received within the royal family, particularly by Prince William.
Reports suggest that Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, is seething over his brother Harry’s decision to embark on this visit alongside Meghan Markle. Sources reveal that William is determined to thwart any future attempts by the couple to undertake unofficial royal tour
According to insights from royal expert Tom Quinn, both Prince William and his father, King Charles, are deeply dismayed by Harry and Meghan’s actions. Quinn expressed that the reception the couple received in Nigeria, including dances, receptions, and visits to various institutions, only exacerbated tensions within the royal household.
Quinn elaborated on the situation, stating, “It’s as if Harry and Meghan have gone rogue – their Nigeria trip is a bold statement that they refuse to accept they are no longer working royals
The expert further highlighted the concern among senior royals, emphasizing that Meghan and Harry’s demeanor and speeches during the visit suggested a reluctance to acknowledge their diminished royal role
