Primate Ayodele Predicts Continued Economic Hardship in Nigeria
In a recent statement, Primate Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Church, urged President Bola Tinubu to change his approach to handling economic hardship in Nigeria. He predicted continued economic crises for the country unless substantial changes are made.
The prophet acknowledged the government’s efforts to address the Naira devaluation issue but emphasized that more needs to be done to address the broader economic challenges. He highlighted the importance of improving agriculture and producing and refining petroleum products domestically to stabilize the economy.
Primate Ayodele expressed concern about rising inflation and the increasing cost of living, including potential hikes in electricity tariffs and prices of essential goods such as pure water and food items. He cautioned that without a change in strategy, the perceived economic improvements might be misleading and could exacerbate the country’s economic problems.
He called on the federal government to implement a new economic formula to address the struggles of the masses and stabilize the economy. Primate Ayodele warned that failing to do so may lead to further issues, such as continued challenges in the telecommunication sector and stock exchange.
In conclusion, Primate Ayodele urged President Tinubu to take decisive action to address the underlying economic issues facing Nigeria and to avoid merely creating new problems while attempting to solve existing ones.
