“President Tinubu’s Re-Election Is Personal to Me” — Bello
Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has described the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a personal commitment, pledging to mobilise support ahead of the next general elections.
Bello made the declaration in Abuja while hosting members of the pro-Tinubu group, Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Movement.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the **All Progressives Congress**, noting that the party provided him with his first major political platform, which led to his election and re-election as governor in Kogi State. He also credited the party with creating the conditions that enabled the emergence of his successor, **Ahmed Usman Ododo**, along with other elected officials in the state since 2016.
Bello said his support for Tinubu’s second term is rooted in party allegiance and in what he described as the impact of the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.
He expressed readiness to collaborate with Barrister **Seyi Tinubu** and members of the RTIFN Movement to secure electoral victory.
Speaking on behalf of the group, National Coordinator Ambassador Ahmed Bala said the organisation was formed to mobilise support for the president at community level, educate citizens on government policies, address misinformation and strengthen backing for the administration ahead of the polls.
Bala commended Bello’s role in consolidating party structures in the North Central region. During the visit, Bello was named a patron of the movement in the region to coordinate mobilisation efforts under the group’s leadership.
Other officials present included National Secretary Amb. Felix Arome; National Deputy Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade; National Publicity Secretary, Musa Abdulrahaman; and David Idris Zakariya, who represents Idah Federal Constituency and serves as Kogi Project Coordinator for the movement, alongside other state and national executives.
