President Tinubu Calls for Positive Outlook, Encourages Citizens to Emulate Super Eagles
In a compelling address at the launch of 3,112 housing units in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, President Bola Tinubu urged Nigerians to cultivate a positive mindset towards the country. Emphasizing the significance of the national pledge, the President encouraged citizens to remain faithful and optimistic, asserting that such an outlook contributes to the nation’s success.
“Don’t think of your country negatively,” President Tinubu remarked during his speech, underlining the importance of commitment to the greatness and hope of Nigeria. Quoted by The Nation, he called for a collective renewal of the pledge, urging citizens to be unwaveringly dedicated to the well-being of the nation.
Drawing parallels to the recent triumph of the Super Eagles against Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the Africa Cup of Nations Semi-Final, President Tinubu highlighted the joyous atmosphere that positivity and hope create. “Every one of us loves victory; we love to win. When you are positive and hopeful, Nigeria is winning,” he stated, encouraging citizens to emulate the spirit displayed by the national football team.
As the nation celebrates achievements on the field, President Tinubu’s call for a positive and patriotic mindset resonates as a reminder of the collective responsibility every Nigerian holds towards the progress and prosperity of the country.
