Popular Nollywood Actor, Sisi Quadri, is Dead
The Nigerian film industry mourns the untimely demise of Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, widely known as Sisi Quadri. The 44-year-old actor’s passing was confirmed on Friday by his colleagues within the Yoruba movie sector.
Expressing her sorrow, Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo took to her verified Instagram handle, stating, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
The exact cause of Quadri’s death remains unknown at the time of this report.
A Brief Tribute to Sisi Quadri
Born on December 25, 1979, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, Sisi Quadri made a significant mark in the Yoruba movie industry. His acting journey began around a decade ago, and it was his memorable role in “Seranko Seniyan” that bestowed upon him the endearing moniker “Sisi Quadri.”
Renowned for his comedic flair, Quadri captivated audiences with his performances in notable Nollywood films, including “Aje Ni Eegun,” “Iya Oko Mi,” and “Omo Iya Oko.”
