Popular Actor Shot Dead by Neighbor
Jonathan Joss, a popular American actor best known for voicing John Redcorn in the animated series King of the Hill, was shot and killed on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was 59 years old.
The San Antonio Police Department confirmed on Monday that Joss was fatally shot by his neighbor, 56-year-old Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, during a dispute. Alvarez has since been arrested and charged with murder.
Authorities have not released details about what led to the altercation. As investigations continue, fans and colleagues have expressed shock and sadness over the tragic loss of the actor, whose work spanned television, film, and voice acting.
