“Please, Don’t Remove My Daughter’s Breasts,” UK Father Begs Transgender Surgeon

In a heart-wrenching appeal, a UK father has begged prominent plastic surgeon, Mohsen El Gammal, to cancel a planned mastectomy for his 20-year-old transgender daughter, fearing it will irrevocably damage her life.

In a candid letter shared with The Mail on Sunday, the father, who wished to remain anonymous to protect his daughter’s privacy, expressed his deep concerns about her history of depression, self-harm, and eating disorders. He attributed her decision to undergo the surgery to what he described as the influence of the “trans cult.”

“Ultimately, my daughter is a depressive. She sought the highs that came from cutting herself; from starving herself; from being taken for a boy; from taking testosterone; and now from having her breasts removed,” the letter read. “She needs to learn that life is not one long adrenaline buzz – that happiness is a more moderate feeling, comes from within and derives from finding place and purpose in life. You are fueling her problem, not helping to resolve it.”

The father stressed the permanent consequences of the surgery, emphasizing the potential loss of breastfeeding ability and limited future relationship prospects for his daughter. “Please do not remove my daughter’s breasts. You will, in one day – a day you will quickly forget – ruin her life forever,” he pleaded.

Despite his emotional appeal, The Mail on Sunday reports that the daughter underwent the double mastectomy last month. The clinic, Cadogan Clinic in Chelsea, west London, did not comment on the family dispute.

The father’s plea comes amid growing public discourse about transgender issues, highlighted recently by Elon Musk’s disclosure about his own transgender child, Vivian.

According to El Gammal’s website, he is a Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon with extensive experience in breast cancer treatment and cosmetic procedures, having performed 1,000 such operations.
