Photos: Wike, Wife Celebrate as Son Jordan Joins Nigerian Bar
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, celebrated a proud family moment on Tuesday as their son, Jordan, was formally called to the Nigerian Bar. The minister joined the Body of Benchers’ procession at the Call to Bar ceremony in Abuja, where the milestone was marked with pomp and emotion.
Confirming the development, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, shared photos and a video of the family on his official X handle with the caption: “Happy Dad and Mum. FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, with their son, Jordan, who is to be called to Bar today.”
The Body of Benchers had earlier released details for the distribution of invitation cards to aspirants scheduled for the September 23 to 25 Call to Bar events, with collection beginning on September 18 at the Body of Benchers Complex in Abuja. The Call to Bar ceremony remains a statutory event that formally ushers successful law graduates into the legal profession, marking the transition from academic study to practice.
