A statement released on X platform by the PDP highlighted that materials intended for volatile areas are reportedly in the possession of identified APC stakeholders. The party listed individuals allegedly involved and urged security agencies and INEC to take swift action.

Earlier, Mr. Madu, a member of the Labour Party, expressed surprise at the sudden replacement of personnel at the polling center, linking it to an apparent attempt to sway the election. Chibuikem Diala, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate, further alleged similar occurrences across different sections of the state, suggesting wider irregularities.
These allegations intensify concerns about the integrity and fairness of the electoral process in Imo State as stakeholders closely monitor developments in the run-up to the elections.
