PDP Issues Public Disclaimer Notice on Wike, Anyanwu, Fayose, Others
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a public disclaimer formally distancing itself from several individuals who, it says, no longer have any ties to the party. The notice follows the PDP’s 2025 Elective National Convention held on 15–16 November in Ibadan, Oyo State, where the affected persons were expelled in line with the party’s constitution.
The public announcement lists the following individuals:
1. Ezenwo Wike
2. Samuel Anyanwu
3. Ayo Fayose
4. Umar Bature
5. Kamaldeen Ajibade
6. Mao Ohuabunwa
7. George Turnah
8. Dan Orbih
9. Austin Nwachukwu
10. Mon’d Abdulrahman
11. Abraham Amah
According to the PDP, none of the individuals mentioned above are members of the party nor do they hold any office within its structure. The party stressed that any public engagements, representations, or claims made by them should not be regarded as sanctioned by the PDP.
The disclaimer further cautions members of the public that anyone choosing to interact or conduct business with the expelled individuals does so entirely at their own risk.
The notice was signed by the National Chairman, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, who reaffirmed the party’s commitment to internal discipline and adherence to its constitutional procedures.
