Patrick Doyle Announces Death of Newborn Daughter Hours After Birth
Veteran Nigerian actor Patrick Doyle has announced the death of his newborn daughter, Omayinuwa Doyle, just hours after her birth.
The child was born on Friday, April 10, and died the following day, Saturday, April 11. Doyle shared the news in a statement posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.
According to him, the baby arrived at about 10:40 a.m. and passed away at approximately 4:15 p.m. the next day. He described her brief life as a moment that brought joy to the family despite its short duration.
Doyle also expressed his family’s reliance on faith in coping with the loss, stating that they remain steadfast in their belief in God.
The actor recently welcomed the child with his wife, Funmilayo Doyle.
Following the announcement, messages of condolence have continued to pour in from colleagues, fans, and well-wishers across social media.
