Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation Holds Strategic Meeting with Ward Coordinators in Onitsha South

On August 18, 2024, the Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation convened a strategic meeting with its ward coordinators from Onitsha South Local Government Area (L.G.A.). The meeting, held on Otumoye Street, Odoakpu, Onitsha, Anambra State, was aimed at reinforcing the foundation’s efforts to alleviate hunger and empower vulnerable communities.

 

The session was chaired by Hon. Solomon Ogbodo, popularly known as Igwe Mayor, who serves as the Onitsha South L.G.A. Ambassador for the foundation. In his address, Igwe Mayor provided an in-depth overview of the foundation’s mission, which is generously funded by philanthropist Sir C.C Onyeze. He reiterated the foundation’s commitment to mitigating the challenges faced by economically disadvantaged residents in Onitsha South and beyond.

 

A key highlight of the meeting was the distribution of the Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation forms, which are intended to facilitate the identification and support of families in need across the various wards. Hon. Ogbodo urged the ward coordinators to ensure that the forms reach the appropriate beneficiaries promptly.

 

Mr. Uzo Chidibere, the coordinator for Fegge Ward 2, lauded the efforts of Sir C.C Onyeze and encouraged his colleagues to remain steadfast in their roles, emphasizing the importance of their collective efforts in advancing the foundation’s humanitarian mission.

 

The meeting concluded with a group photograph, marking the occasion, followed by an exchange of pleasantries among the participants.

 

The Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation remains dedicated to its mission of touching lives and providing critical support to the communities it serves.
