One Million Bibles to Be Distributed Nationwide in Honour of Seyi Tinubu
A nationwide initiative to distribute one million copies of the Holy Bible in honour of Barrister Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been launched in Abuja.
The announcement was made during a thanksgiving service held on Sunday at the National Christian Centre. The event, organised by friends of Seyi Tinubu, was coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).
According to the organisers, the Bibles will be distributed through churches and community-based organisations across the country. The goal, they said, is to promote moral renewal, ethical leadership, and civic responsibility among young Nigerians.
Hon. Enwere explained that the project was not designed as a personal celebration but as a contribution to moral and spiritual transformation in society.
“The one million Bible project is a gift to the body of Christ and a seed for moral transformation. Through this effort, we hope to restore integrity, compassion, and love for humanity among young Nigerians,” Enwere stated.
The thanksgiving service, which was also observed in about 40 churches nationwide, featured prayers and sermons focused on national unity and moral revival.
Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, led the service and offered special prayers for the Tinubu family and the nation. Clergymen from various denominations hailed the initiative as timely, especially amid rising concerns about the erosion of values among young people.
In a message delivered on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed gratitude to the organisers, noting that faith and moral education remain vital to building responsible citizens and fostering national development.
The first batch of Bibles, set for distribution to churches, schools, and youth ministries across Nigeria, was officially presented during the event.
