Omo-Agege Didn’t Work Against Tinubu, Cairo Ojougbo Did – Delta APC
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State has said that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege didn’t work against the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 election in the state.
It claimed that it was Cairo Ojougbo and a group of detractors who worked against the president.
In a statement signed by Delta State APC Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, the party said Ojougbo and his group were “suckering up the national executive committee and the presidential campaign council during the campaigns.”
Onojeghuo noted, “They were also busy at home taking active steps in undermining the prospect of the party in Delta State by openly collaborating with the opposition to defeat APC candidates in the various state and national elections.”
“So far, the only notable contribution of Cairo Ojougboh and his group, is to be caught on videography and photographs joining members of the opposition to celebrate the electoral losses of the party in the state”
The APC urged the president to ignore the rantings of Cairo Ojougboh, a former member of the party and his gang of detractors.
The statement added, “They are unnecessary distractions to your onerous task of nation building ahead.”
