NYSC Directs Married Female Corps Members to Redeploy to Their Husband’s State of Residence
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a directive requiring married female corps members who have been posted to states outside their husband’s residence to seek redeployment.
This announcement was made on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday.
In their statement, NYSC advised, “Attention All 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Married Female Prospective Corps Members. All married female Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) deployed to states where their husbands are not domiciled should report to the nearest NYSC Orientation Camp to request a change in their state of deployment.”
PCMs are instructed to present their marital and other relevant documents during the registration period at the Orientation Camps. Upon processing, the redeployment will be updated on their dashboard for reprinting.
Established on May 22, 1973, by Decree No. 24, the NYSC is a Nigerian government initiative designed to engage graduates in nation-building and foster national unity among youths.
